This article aims to describe the conditions of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic and the effects of gadgets use on developing the character of elementary school students during online learning. This type of study is an library research, thecnique used in collecting data are observation dan documentation. The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data display, and descriptions of content or verification. The results of this study are in the face of pandemic, government rules out the learning process from home. One of the learning methods is using gadgets. Gadget use can affect the development of student’s character especially religious character, communicative character or social interaction and creative character.
