Content analysis divinity values in textbooks pendidikan pancasila dan kewarganegaraan (PPKn) subject in senior high school

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the content of the First Precept of Belief in One God in the class X Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) textbook written by Nuryadi and Tolib from the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2017. Although it is not implicitly stated in the sub-chapter, however, the translation into the form of juridical provisions is relatively more conflicting because it enters the policy process and the state administration system, and therefore intersects with politics, which today are increasingly full of power interests and motivations. Therefore, the utilization of this book as material containing the contents of the First Precepts of Pancasila must be in line with the objectives of Civics itself, especially in the aspect of forming the spiritual attitude and character of citizens. The teacher must ensure that the discussion of material with the value of God is carried out with the main aim of improving the quality of learning.
